Microneedling is a safe, minimally invasive treatment that is performed using a specialized handheld device. At one end of the device a cartridge containing several very small and sterilized needles is inserted and then disposed of after each use. The needles microscopically penetrate the skin, stimulating the regeneration of collagen and elastin producing cells in the dermis layer of the skin. The treatment has become a favorite method for reducing the appearance of wrinkles, scars, acne, stretch marks, and uneven skin tone, as well as effectively stimulating hair growth in men and women.
